Booking Rooms in the New Town Hall

Looking for a space to book a meeting? We have three rooms which are available to book at The New Town Hall. It’s conveniently located on Commercial Road in the centre of town within easy access from the bus stops, local car parks, and railway station.

We accept bookings between Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm, and Fridays 9am to 4pm. Bookings are classed as a half day for 4 hours or less and a full day for anything more than 4 hours.

Council Chamber

The Council Chamber has a capacity of 60 offering a large electronic projector screen, hearing loop, microphones and can be set in various styles.

Meeting Room

The Meeting Room has a capacity of 8.

Civic Suite

The Civic Suite’s capacity is 8 and offers views across the inner harbour with window blinds if required.
