Jubilee Clock Light Up Scheme 2026

In 2026, Weymouth’s iconic Jubilee Clock will be illuminated in different colours as part of the Light Up Scheme, and Weymouth Town Council is delighted to reveal the local charities and organisations that have been chosen to feature.

Members of the public put forward their nominations and after careful consideration, the following colours will be used to represent the organisations that have been selected for the year ahead:

Green for the Samaritans

Blue for Prostate Cancer UK

Blue and white for the RSPCA West Dorset Branch

Green and yellow for BASICS Dorset

Green and blue for Dorset Abilities

Yellow for The Lantern Trust

Blue for Weymouth Street Pastors

Blue and green for Weldmar Hospicecare

Purple for Family Matters

As well as the organisations selected, Weymouth Town Council will also be lighting the Jubilee Clock red in the week leading up to Remembrance Sunday and to mark Armistice Day in November.

Mayor of Weymouth, Cllr Caroline Nickinson said: “It was an honour to be involved in the decision making for the 2026 Jubilee Clock Light Up Scheme. The clock is one of Weymouth’s most iconic landmarks, and we are proud to light it up in different colours to raise awareness for such worthy causes, which really puts the spotlight on their incredible work.”
