Community Grants

Funding is currently available through our community grant scheme, with the aim of benefiting worthy community, voluntary and charitable organisations in the local area. Organisations that work with communities in our area are able to apply for a grant from us to help fund new projects, equipment, events or training.

This scheme empowers organisations, supports new projects and helps to improve lives. The funding leads to greater self-sufficiency and financial independence, leaving more time for organisations to focus on working with and supporting local people.

To be eligible for funding, applicants must meet the criteria set out in the Grants Policy below. For example, evidence must be shown that the service you provide is needed by the community and that it has community support. The application forms are below:

Application deadline

The deadline to apply for community grants over £500 is 21st February 2027 to be considered by Finance and Governance committee on 24th March 2027.
