The following week will see the first Annual Town Assembly. This is a public meeting that the Town Council holds each year to report on its work to electors. This meeting is being held on Wednesday 22nd May at 7pm in the Council Chamber and all registered electors are invited to attend.

Jane Biscombe, Town Clerk said “This is an opportunity to see history in the making – the first official Town Council meeting and the first Town Assembly. I hope local residents will come along and ensure that the links between the community and the Council start off in the right way – with strong local support and an open dialogue.”
