The American Car & Hot Rod Day
American Muscle to Rumble Into Weymouth This Summer
The sound of roaring V8 engines, gleaming chrome and classic American horsepower will take over the seafront as the American Car & Hot Rod Day arrives at Weymouth Esplanade, DT4 7EA.
More than 50 stunning American cars and custom hot rods are set to roll into Weymouth for a spectacular free public display that promises colour, noise, chrome and unforgettable automotive style.
From thunderous Mustangs and Camaros to wild custom hot rods with huge tyres, polished bodywork and eye-catching paintwork, the event will transform Weymouth Esplanade into a slice of Americana by the sea.
Visitors can walk around the display completely free of charge, meet vehicle owners, take photographs and experience the atmosphere as the cars line the famous seafront. All vehicles are expected to be in position and ready for viewing from 10am.
The event is expected to attract car enthusiasts, families, holidaymakers and photographers from across Dorset and the South Coast.
Adding to the day, representatives from the Royal British Legion will also be attending, speaking with visitors about the important support and welfare work they carry out for serving personnel, veterans and military families across the UK.
Organisers say the event is designed to create a fantastic day out for the whole community while bringing exciting vehicles and entertainment into the heart of Weymouth.
“This is all about bringing big American atmosphere to the seafront,” organisers said. “People can expect roaring engines, brilliant cars, polished chrome, custom builds and an amazing friendly atmosphere right in the centre of Weymouth. Best of all, it’s completely free to walk around and enjoy.”
American Car & Hot Rod Day takes place at Weymouth Esplanade, DT4 7EA, with the main display open from 10am.
Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to see the cars rumble into position along the seafront.
