Public toilets statement – think twice before travelling to Weymouth
Weymouth Town Council continues to urge everyone to think twice before travelling to Weymouth. If you are thinking of travelling to Weymouth, facilities will be limited and we are unfortunately unable to guarantee their availability.
The following public toilet facilities will be open from Saturday 23rd May between 9am and 5pm to meet public health requirements:
• Lodmoor Country Park
• Greenhill Gardens (above ground)
• The Pier Bandstand
• Swannery Car Park
• Hope Square
• Nothe Gardens
From Wednesday 27th May, Maiden Street toilets will also be open between 9am and 5pm.
Accessible facilities (via radar key access) will be available at all open toilet facilities.
When using our public toilet facilities, remember to stay alert and keep 2 metres away from people not from your household. Please also wash your hands for 20 seconds and use sanitiser regularly.
In order to ensure the health, safety and welfare of customers and staff, we may need to close facilities for cleaning and repairs. Please pay attention to safety signage and hygiene measures in place at each of our facilities.
The public toilets at King’s Statue remain closed due to safety guidelines not currently being able to be maintained at these facilities. This is under constant review and may change in accordance with Government guidelines.
Updates and changes will be published on the Council’s social media accounts.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during these unprecedented times.
