Mayor’s Engagements for March

Please find a list of engagements to be attended by the Mayor of Weymouth, Cllr Caroline Nickinson.

Wednesday 18^th March, 2pm – Thomas Fowell Buxton Society Annual General Meeting – St Aldhelm’s Church Centre, Spa Road, Weymouth 

Friday 20^th March, 1.30pm – Declaration of the High Sheriff of Dorset – Coastland College, Cranford Avenue, Weymouth. 

Saturday 21^st March, 2pm – Ingleside Residential Home Open Day – Ingleside Residential Home, Dorchester Road, Upwey, Weymouth. 

Thursday 26^th March, 8pm – Weymouth Drama Club performance of Deckchairs – Harbour Theatre, Hope Street, Weymouth.  

Friday 27^th March, 11am – Sir Samuel Mico Service – St Mary’s Church, St Mary Street. 

Saturday 28^th March, 10am – Weymouth Land Train 1^st Trip of the Season – Weymouth Promenade (opposite M&S). 

The Mayor of Weymouth, Cllr Caroline Nickinson is encouraging residents to come along to a 60s and 70s themed disco at Weymouth’s Centenary Club on Friday 10^th April, in aid of the Mayor’s chosen charity Weldmar Hospicecare. 

Tickets for the event are £10 and can be purchased on the Weldmar Hospicecare website. 

As well as the 60s and 70s disco, the evening will feature a raffle and fancy dress is optional, with prizes awarded for the best outfits. 

Proceeds from the event, including ticket sales and the raffle, will be donated to Weldmar Hospicecare. Rathbones are sponsoring the event, and if other companies or organisations are interested in donating raffle prizes, they can contact mayor@weymouthtowncouncil.gov.uk
