Incinerator at Portland Port

Weymouth Town Council and Portland Town Council have written to the Deputy Prime Minister to voice their continued opposition to the building and operation of an incinerator at Portland Port. 

The Town Councils have asked that the decision to grant planning permission is revisited after the Government have determined their national policy position on incinerators and to further ask that the Government imposes a moratorium on any future decisions on incinerators.
