Citizens Advice Central Dorset (Weymouth and Portland) Receive the Ken Isaacs Rose Bowl
During a presentation before the Council’s Full Council meeting on Wednesday 14th May, outgoing Mayor of Weymouth Cllr Jon Orrell presented Daniel Cadisch, Chief Officer of Citizens Advice Central Dorset (Weymouth and Portland) and volunteer representative Lin with the commemorative Ken Isaacs Rose Bowl.
Reflecting on the award, Lin said: “It’s lovely for the dedication and hard work of the Citizens Advice team to be recognised in this way.”
Daniel Cadisch, Chief Officer of Citizens Advice Central Dorset said: “It’s a great honour for Citizens Advice to receive this award. Our amazing team of volunteers and staff have worked incredibly hard to help local residents the toughest times. By donating their time to the community, our highly trained volunteers are here to help clients navigate through the minefield of welfare benefits and accessing crisis support. Thank you to the Mayor and Weymouth Town Council for their invaluable support.”
The Rose Bowl is awarded each year by the Mayor to a group or organisation which has done impressive work in the community.
