Sevenoaks & Tonbridge Concert Band Performance

The Sevenoaks and Tonbridge Concert Band was formed in 1980 and is an amateur symphonic wind band from Kent. Members of the band come from a wide geographic ranging from East Sussex up to South East London. Members must be of grade 7 & 8 standard to join. We rehearse during term time and perform numerous indoor and outdoor concerts throughout the year. The band is delighted to be visiting the Jurassic Coast during August Bank holiday. Our programme includes a wide variety of music ranging from The Beatles to Gershwin as well as film scores such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Mary Poppins. There will be something to suit all tastes.
Our schedule is as follows:
Saturday 26 August Music for A Summer’s Evening St John’s, Church, Weymouth, 7pm– 8.30pm
This is a fundraising concert for local charity Hope House. The Mayor of Weymouth, Cllr Kate Wheller will be attending. This is a free concert. There will be a retiring collection.
Sunday 27 August Free outdoor performance Swanage Bandstand, 2pm – 4pm
Monday 28 August Free outdoor performance Jubilee Clock, Weymouth, 12 – 2pm
