New Bench Memorialisation Opportunities in Weymouth

There are some opportunities to memorialise the newly installed benches along North Quay in Weymouth, which have wonderful views across the inner harbour area.

If you are interested in a plaque only memorialisation of one of these benches, we are inviting applicants to send a completed application form to: benches@weymouthtowncouncil.gov.uk

Application information

All applications can only be accepted if submitted on an official application form. Applications will be treated on a first come first served basis and it is important to note that the sponsorship of a bench is for ten years or the lifetime of the bench, whichever comes sooner.

All sponsorship costs will be confirmed with the sponsor at the point of taking out the agreement, prior to being invoiced. However, the cost of a plaque only sponsorship is payable over 10 years, so £250 (including the plaque) in the first year, followed by a further nine payments of £200 per year.
