Weymouth Water Fest
Weymouth Water Fest returns for its third year in 2026 on Saturday 12th September, 10am – 3pm on Weymouth Beach, in front of the Beach Office.
Weymouth Water Fest is a free community event designed for families and residents to make the most of our beautiful beach and coastline. The day includes taster sessions, workshops information stands, all aiming to help boost your confidence in the water and enjoy beach activities in a relaxed, no pressure environment.
Some of the confirmed activities are:
Revive Wild Sauna sessions
Paddleboarding with Adventure 4 All
Sea dip and donut activity with the Beach Babes Sea Swimming Group
Stand-up Paddleboarding with Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre
Gig rowing sessions provided by Kabincraft Adventures
Dancing and a sea dip with Splash Dance
A beach demonstration by Weymouth Surf Lifesaving Club
There will also be information stalls from Weymouth and Portland Marine Litter Project, The Climate Hub, RNLI Weymouth Lifeboat and the Water Safety Team, Weymouth Museum, Weymouth Swimming Pool, Weymouth and Portland Octopush Club and Dorset Seaside Silver.
Entertainment will be provided by Weymouth Community Choir, Lewis Snarey and Dorset Wrecks, plus we are pleased to welcome Dave from Air 107.2 who will be compering throughout the event.
In an exciting addition to this year’s event, Ocean Visions Photography will be on hand with a virtual reality headset, so visitors can see and explore the some of our local underwater worlds.
