Temporary closure of public footpath S1/92, Weymouth

Dorset Council has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along Footpath 92, from A – B on the map below grid reference SY 66063 78338 to grid reference SY 66251 78407, a distance of approximately 200 metres. The Notice is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It came into effect on 18 August 2026 and will remain in place for a period of 21 days.
