Charity stalls to pitch up on Weymouth Seafront
Weymouth Town Council has announced which charitable organisations will be using the charity stall area on the Promenade to help organisations raise awareness about their work. The public are encouraged to come and talk to them on the following dates and find out more:
Wednesday 13th August: Parkinsons Awareness Group
Thursday 14th August: National Coastwatch Institution, Portland Bill
Friday 15th August: Emannuel Church
Tuesday 19th August: Dorset Murugi Project
Wednesday 20th August: WRNS Benevolent Trust
Saturday 23rd August: St Edmunds Church
Sunday 24th August: Dorset Blind Association
Monday 25th August: Changing Tides Row
Friday 29th August: Fundraising Friends 223, raising money for Dorset Nightstop
Saturday 30th August: RSPCA West Dorset – Taylor’s Rehoming Centre
Sunday 31st August: All In!
Saturday 6th September: All Saints Church
Sunday 14th September: Ironman 70.3 Weymouth
Saturday 11th October: Motor Neuron Disease Association
So far this year, the Council was proud to have hosted Holy Trinity Church, Moose International, the Lantern Trust, Fundraising Friends 222, The Children’s Society, Friends of Greenhill Gardens and Dorset Museum.
Any charitable organisations interested in booking a pitch in the charity stall square are encouraged to email resort@weymouthtowncouncil.gov.uk to find out more.
