Notice of Councillor Vacancy in the Ward of Wyke Regis

Due to the resignation of a town councillor, a councillor vacancy has arisen in the Wyke Regis ward of Weymouth Town Council. Please see the notice below for further information.

The deadline to request an election is Friday 31st January and the requests must come from voters registered to vote in the Wyke Regis ward.

If ten or more electors from the Wyke Regis ward request for an election to be held, there will be an election.

To request for an election to be held, you must put this in writing to Dorset Council. The letter must also include your name, address and signature. Letters can be sent by post or as an email attachment.
