Traders wanted for Bonfire Night

The annual Guy Fawkes night firework display and beach bonfire returns to the seafront and Weymouth Town Council is on the lookout for traders to have a stall on the Promenade.

The event takes place on Tuesday 5th November, and the Town Council is looking for an array of stall holders to take part, so whether you sell food, drinks, or other goods then make sure you complete your application no later than 12pm on Tuesday 1st October – new closing date.

Cllr Jon Orrell, Mayor of Weymouth, said: “Weymouth seafront will be busy with people coming to see the fantastic firework display, so this is the perfect opportunity to be part of the event and trade on the promenade ahead of the beach bonfire being lit and the spectacular show illuminating the bay at 8pm.”

The format for the evening is as follows:

7.40pm – beach bonfire is lit

8pm – fireworks start from a vessel in Weymouth Bay
