Temporary Traffic Management Notice, Various Roads, Hardwick Street & Brownlow Street

Dorset Council has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. The Notice is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise likelihood of danger to highway users. The Notice comes in to operation between 09:00 – 16:00 on 27th February 2023 and will remain in force for 5 days, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 2nd March 2023.
This Notice will enable Dorset Council to to carry out carriageway maintenance works.
The effect of this Notice is as follows:
[1] To impose a temporary road closure on;
HARDWICK STREET, between its junction with Lennox Street and its junction with Queen Street.
BROWNLOW STREET, between its junction with Hardwick Street and its junction with Queen Street.
[2] To impose a parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along;
HARDWICK STREET, between its junction with Lennox Street and its junction with Queen Street.
BROWNLOW STREET, between its junction with Hardwick Street and its junction with Queen Street.
[3] To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting on the highway along;
HARDWICK STREET, between its junction with Lennox Street and its junction with Queen Street.
BROWNLOW STREET, between its junction with Hardwick Street and its junction with Queen Street.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
