Weymouth play parks to reopen from Saturday 4th July
Weymouth Town Council owned play parks will be reopening on Saturday 4th July.
We can’t wait to get Weymouth’s children out playing in the fresh air. However, we urge you and your children to adhere to the following guidance when using our play parks:
- Maintain a 2m distance between yourself and others
- Sanitise your hands before, during, and after using the play park, especially after touching play equipment and the access gates
- Wash your hands thoroughly when you get home
- If the play area is busy, please wait or come back at another time
- No food or drink, and please take your litter home with you
Our outdoor gyms will also be reopening on Saturday 4th July. The same guidance as above applies, and additionally we request that all gym equipment is wiped down after use.
Posters will be on display at all relevant facilities to inform users of the guidance.
Please be patient and kind, everyone deserves to play or workout safely.
We will continue to monitor the usage and cleanliness of the Council’s play areas and outdoor gyms. Please report any concerns to parks@weymouthtowncouncil.gov.uk or 01305 239831.
