We want your unwanted ties, beaded jewellery and craft supplies!
Please would you kindly look to see if you have any unloved wide ties, beaded jewellery or craft supplies lurking in the corners.
If you are happy to re-home them, Let’s Make It would love to receive them and recycle them into wonderful gifts for the patients at Dorset County Hospital’s radiotherapy department.
Over 60 people are treated over a six week course, where they need to attend the hospital every single day, so the lovely people in the group have rallied around and are going to create some wonderful small gifts for each patient to bring a smile to their faces.
Items such as glasses cases made from recycled ties, bookmarks, key rings, bag charms and bracelets etc. will be created by the lovely bunch of people at sessions held in St Mary’s Church, Weymouth every Wednesday morning from 9.30am until 11.30am.
Please drop in items to Julie Hursthouse at our office on Commercial Road, or to Dorset Council‘s Community Development Team at South Walks House in Dorchester.
