Great Partnership Boost for Weymouth Town Council Festivals and Events

Weymouth events provide a considerable increase in visitor footfall, global publicity and community pride. The events programme has been given a financial boost in excess of £20,000 by a national company with a successful locally based business.

Following over ten years in partnership, Haven Littlesea Holiday Park have agreed to continue to be an events commercial partner and sponsor to Weymouth Town Council’s events team.

The money assists the Town Council in the management, support and promotion of more than 200 events and festivals annually.

Kristie Clark, Caravan Sales Manager at Littlesea Holiday Park said:

We actively embrace our relationship with the Town Council events team. We are committed in trying new and innovative schemes to increase business and awareness of our holiday park, we place a high value on this key partnership as it clearly benefits both parties and the community at large.

Littlesea Holiday Park, part of the Haven brand, welcomes over 20,000 visitors a year who all contribute to the local economy during their stay. We also employ a team of up to 300 people, most of whom are local.

This year we are also delighted to support Weymouth Town Council on their re-introduction of the summer firework promotion”.

The sponsorship arrangement was also welcomed by Cllr David Northam, Chair of Weymouth Town Council Services Committee, who said:

“The events team take great pride in organising, supporting and promoting over 200 events and festivals throughout the year. This partnership with Haven Littlesea is a fine example of a successful local business with a strong national brand investing and benefitting from the many promotional opportunities made available by the Town Council’s annual events and festival programme”.

The Haven Holiday Show will be open from 26th July to 11th August from 9am to 5pm daily at the Weymouth Pavilion Forecourt.
