Memorialisation of Peninsula Benches

We currently have opportunities to memorialise benches situated on the Weymouth Peninsula. Examples are pictured below.

There are three areas available which are all located on the map below. We are able to offer 16 benches in areas 1- 9, where a new composite bench can be added.

Memorialise an Existing Bench

If you would like to memorialise an existing bench then you can request to attach a plaque. The initial cost of this will be £250 plus an additional annual fee of £200 for a minimum of 10 years, or the lifetime of the bench, whichever comes first. This £2,250 fee can be paid together with the initial fee if desired. At the end of the 11 years the sponsor will need to submit a new application for the bench to extend the term for another 10 years if applicable.

You will then be contacted regarding availability. Applications will be based on a first come first served basis.
