Members of the public who wish to lay flowers can do so at our designated area at Greenhill Gardens, opposite the wishing well. Thank you to everyone who has left a floral tribute in honour of our late Queen.
We kindly request that any flowers are unwrapped, and no non-compostable items are used as the flowers are due to be composted at a later date and used to plant a commemorative tree.
Following the proclamation in London on Saturday 10th September announcing King Charles III as our new Sovereign, we held a local proclamation at the town’s Jubilee Clock. This was read by Council Leader Cllr David Harris on Sunday 11th September.
