DESCRIPTION:Dusk Til Dark 2026 transforms the town into a series of static sound and light installations\, inviting you to discover each one in your own time. \nHead to Westham Bridge in Weymouth for the HEADLINE immersive light and sound installation\, produced by Dorset-based Activate Performing Arts.\n‘Wave’ by artists Squidsoup\, consists of five hundred suspended orbs shaped like a breaking ocean wave. Each orb contains LED lights\, a speaker and microcomputer\, with movement sensor and wireless connectivity. As you move through the artwork\, the orbs shift in harmonies of sound and light resulting in a calming and sensory experience. The 500 interconnected glowing orbs use Internet of Things technology to create an environment filled with movement\, sound and emotion. \nThere will also be additional sound and light experiences within the town as part of We Are Weymouth’s Dusk til Dark event. \nHEADLINE 500 light sound ‘WAVE’ Westham Bridge: 6-10pm Thursday\, Friday and Saturday\nCreative art workshop: 5-6pm Fri At ‘WAVE’ on Westham Bridge\nIlluminated Beings: New Vic 7-11pm Fri/Sat
