Temporary Traffic Management Order of Custom House Quay, Weymouth, for Quayside Music Festival – August Bank Holiday 2024

Dorset Council has issued an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prohibit the use of the following roads by cyclists, horse riders and all mechanically propelled vehicles, except those taking part in the event and emergency vehicles, to facilitate a public event on the highway.

On Saturday 24 August 2024 at 0700hrs until Sunday 25 August 2024 at 2359hrs, the following restrictions will be imposed;
[1] To impose temporary road closure on Custom House Quay between underneath the town lifting bridge and its junction with St Mary Street.
[2] To suspend the parking bays on Custom House Quay between underneath the town lifting bridge and its junction with St Mary Street.
[3] To impose temporary closure on the South-west coast path at the steps between the Town Bridge and Custom House Quay
