Temporary Traffic Management Notice – Broadlands Road and Court Road

Dorset Council has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. The Notice is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise likelihood of danger to highway users. The Notice comes in to operation between 0900 and 1600 on 27 February 2023 and will remain in force for 5 days, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 28 February 2023.

This Notice will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance works.
The effect of this Notice is as follows:
[1] To impose a temporary road closure on;
BROADLANDS ROAD, in its entirety.
COURT ROAD, between its junction with Broadlands Road and number 39, a distance of approximately 60 metres.
[2] To impose a parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along;
BROADLANDS ROAD, in its entirety.
COURT ROAD, between its junction with Broadlands Road and number 39, a distance of approximately 60 metres.
[3] To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting on the highway along;
BROADLANDS ROAD, in its entirety.
COURT ROAD, between its junction with Broadlands Road and number 39, a distance of approximately 60 metres.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
