ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDER, VARIOUS ROADS, WEYMOUTH – QUAYSIDE MUSIC FESTIVAL

DORSET COUNCIL has issued an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prohibit the use of the following roads by cyclists, horse riders and all mechanically propelled vehicles, except those taking part in the event and emergency vehicles, to facilitate a public event on the highway.

On Saturday 27 May 2023 at 0700hrs until Monday 29 May 2023 at 0700hrs, the following restrictions will be imposed;
[1] To impose temporary road closure on Custom House Quay between underneath the town lifting bridge and its junction with St
Mary Street.
[2] To suspend the parking bays on Custom House Quay between underneath the town lifting bridge and its junction with St Mary
Street.
[3] To temporarily revoke the Prohibition of Driving Order in Lower St Alban Street at its junction with St Nicholas Street
The alternative route for diverted traffic will be via: Lower St Alban Street – St Thomas Street
