ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT NOTICE, VARIOUS ROADS, WEYMOUTH – FAYRE IN THE SQUARE

DORSET COUNCIL has issued an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prohibit the use of the following roads by cyclists, horse riders and all mechanically propelled vehicles, except those taking part in the event and emergency vehicles, to facilitate a public event on the highway.

On Saturday 27 May 2023 until 28 May 2023 between 08:00 and 18:00, the following restrictions will be imposed;
[1] To impose temporary road closure on Trinity Road from its junction with North Quay to its junction with Cove Street
[2] To impose temporary road closure on Cove Street from its junction with Trinity Road to its junction with Hope Street
[3] To revoke the one way system at Cove Street at its junction with Horsford Street to allow temporary two access for residents
only
[4] To suspend parking at Cove Street, Cove Row, Trinity Road and Hope Square as indicated by signs on site. Permit holders in Zone L will be permitted
