ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES, CONNAUGHT ROAD/DOWN ROAD, WEYMOUTH

DORSET COUNCIL has made a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along CONNAUGHT ROAD/DOWN ROAD, WEYMOUTH; Connaught Road for its entirety; Down Road for its entirety. Please note, Down Road will only be closed on the 17 February 2023. The Notice is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.

It will come into operation on 13 February 2023 and remain in force for five days, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 17 February 2023.

This Notice will enable Dorset Council to carry out improvement works and resurfacing works.
