ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE, LONGCROFT ROAD/EMMADALE ROAD, WEYMOUTH

DORSET COUNCIL has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along LONGCROFT ROAD/EMMADALE ROAD, WEYMOUTH between its junction with Queensland Road and no. 50 Emmadale Road, a distance of approximately 30metres. The Notice is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise likelihood of danger to highway users.
It will come into operation on 8 June 2023 between 0900 and 1700 and remain in force for five days, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 8 June 2023.

This Notice will enable Wessex Water safe access to install equipment into chamber in carriageway and boundary box in footway.
