ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, TEMPORARY PUBLIC FOOTPATH CLOSURE, FOOTPATH NO. 59, WEYMOUTH

DORSET COUNCIL has issued a Notice under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along footpath no. 59 from grid reference SY 666 832 to grid reference SY 666 830, a distance of approximately 216 metres. The notice is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on the 22 May 2023 until 5 June 2023.

This Order is required to allow a bridge replacement.
