Prohibition of Driving – St Alban Street, Weymouth

The County of Dorset (Prohibition of Driving) (St Alban Street, Weymouth) Order 2020.

Dorset Council in exercise of its powers Section 1 and 2, and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Office of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to that Act hereby makes the following Order. The effect of the Order will be to continue in force indefinitely a prohibition of driving between 10.30am and 5.30pm in the following lengths of St Alban Street in Weymouth:

• From its junction with Maiden Street to its junction with East Street
• From its junction with East Street to its junction with Esplanade

Relevant exemptions will apply where appropriate and as necessary in accordance with the provisions of the Order.
(This order has the effect of making The Dorset Council (Weymouth St Alban Street) Experimental Order 2019, permanent).

The Order will come into effect on 1 May 2020.
