Views sought on the future use of the Beach Operations Building

Weymouth Town Council has identified a vacant asset and would like to receive feedback from local businesses and/or community groups that would be interested in operating from the premises.

The vacant asset is the left-hand section of the Beach Operations Building on Weymouth Beach, near the Kings Statue. The vacant section of the Beach Operations Building measures at 2.44m wide and 4.88m deep.

Due to the location of the Beach Operations Building, the council must highlight that any proposals for this building would need to be considerate to other licenses/tenants currently operating in this area of the beach.

Through completing this survey, it will help the town council understand the level of interest, the forms of proposed operational activities and the potential value of the site, enabling the council to mould the future direction of this asset and any procurement exercise that may follow.

Please note that the council reserves the right to choose not to proceed with any proposals or procurement processes. Alongside this, any proposal that is submitted may also be subject to planning permission.
