SUMMARY:Weymouth Octoberfest - Real Ale and Cider Festival
DESCRIPTION:Weymouth’s ever popular Octoberfest is set to make its annual return on Friday October 6th and Saturday the 7th in the Ocean Room\, Weymouth Pavilion with its fine seaside views. \nThis extremely popular event now is now in its 12th year at the Pavilion.  It is organised by West Dorset Campaign For Real Ale (CAMRA) and will this year feature over 70 real ales\, ciders and perries from Wales. We think this will be the largest selection of Welsh beers ever seen in Dorset. \nTickets go on sale from August 1st\, are priced at £11 per session and include a commemorative glass\, programme and two halves of beer or cider.  (CAMRA members receive an extra pint at the membership stand.) \nThis event was a sell out last year and customers are urged to get their tickets early to avoid disappointment from the following outlets:\nOn Line: \ncamrawdorset.org.uk\nWeymouthpavilion.com \nor by phoning 01305 783225.  Please note the Pavilion charges a £2 booking fee per ticket. \nAlternatively\, you can buy tickets in person in Weymouth from The Globe and The Doghouse pubs as well as Chalbury Food and Wine or direct from the Pavilion box office. \nOn Portland\, the Royal Portland Arms and in Dorchester\, The Convivial Rabbit are also stocking tickets. \n#meetyouthere #alesfromwales \n

SUMMARY:Hero & Leander\, Or\, I Love You\, But Everything’s Under Water
DESCRIPTION:By Jack Dean & Company \nSing\, dance and cry with us in this bittersweet outdoor gig theatre show.  Six multi-instrumentalists tell an epic seaside tale through songs encompassing folk\, indie\, sea shanties and choral music.  A story of bad rulers\, worse weather and how we keep going when everything is flipping terrible. \nTwo towns\, one rich and one poor\, stand separated by a narrow strip of ocean.  When the borders close and ships stop sailing between them\, two lovers are left stranded on either side.  Un phased\, Leander takes to swimming across the channel to meet Hero\, guided by the light of the lighthouse where she lives.  But the jealous and vengeful Hephaestus\, carrying an ancient grudge\, plots to separate them with a flood like neither town has ever seen. \nWe all know this will probably end badly.  But just maybe\, this time\, it will turn out different…
