Although the majority of events in Weymouth have been cancelled for the Summer, there are some virtual events taking place which you may like to watch or take part in.
There’s always something to do!
Weymouth, located at the heart of the spectacular Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site is host, under normal circumstances, to over 200 events, festivals and activities throughout the year.

28th December 2020All day: December DipDecember 1-31, 2020All day ![]() Various Weymouth & Portland Lions Club is encouraging as many Dorset residents as possible to participate in the Big December Dip to raise funds for causes close to their hearts. With COVID-19 affecting the whole country, the much-loved Lions Christmas Day Swim has had to be postponed for 2020. They knew so many people would be disappointed that their Christmas Swim cannot take place this year, they wanted to come up with a great, fun idea which allows people to participate in a safe way. So how does it work? Anyone can enter – You might want to don your outfit and take a dip in the bath, shower or the sea! – They are really looking forward to seeing everyone’s fun photos and videos! Friday 4th December 2020 to Sunday 3rd January 2021 Adults £18, Children and Seniors £16, Family of Four (2+2) £64 As Rapunzel nears her 18th Birthday the evil witch, Gothel, and her scheming wizardly brother, Alphonso are plotting to kidnap her. They plan to lock Rapunzel away in a secret tower in a bid to gain eternal youth from her magical hair. In a trance and with no memory of her real family, Rapunzel is doomed to spend the rest of her life in the tower….. Can her determination and a little help from her friends in the palace, save the Princess and give her a ‘Happy Ever After’? |
