DESCRIPTION:There are two health walks in Weymouth which are mostly flat. \nThe route taken on the day is agreed at the beginning of the walk and is dependent on the ability and preference of those attending. \nAll abilities are welcome and the walk can stretch out to different paces. There is no pressure and no one is ever left behind as the pace of the walk is dictated by the rear walker.  Our walks last approximately 45 minutes. \nDogs on a discretionary basis\, please get in touch with the local contact before attending. \n  \n\n\n\nTown/village\nMeeting place\nType of walk\nDay\nTime\n\n\n\n\nWeymouth\nMeet between the Jubilee Clock and Prom Cafe at the advertising drum\nWe walk along the Promenade towards Greenhill Gardens (where there is an incline into the gardens) or the Stone Pier and return to the beginning.\nThursdays\n10:30am

DESCRIPTION:By Jack Dean & Company \nSing\, dance and cry with us in this bittersweet outdoor gig theatre show.  Six multi-instrumentalists tell an epic seaside tale through songs encompassing folk\, indie\, sea shanties and choral music.  A story of bad rulers\, worse weather and how we keep going when everything is flipping terrible. \nTwo towns\, one rich and one poor\, stand separated by a narrow strip of ocean.  When the borders close and ships stop sailing between them\, two lovers are left stranded on either side.  Un phased\, Leander takes to swimming across the channel to meet Hero\, guided by the light of the lighthouse where she lives.  But the jealous and vengeful Hephaestus\, carrying an ancient grudge\, plots to separate them with a flood like neither town has ever seen. \nWe all know this will probably end badly.  But just maybe\, this time\, it will turn out different…
