Reel Masters is the UK’s first exhibition and competition held for saltwater and lure anglers. The saltwater and freshwater lure angling community have long-awaited a show catering to the needs of the thousands of anglers in the UK and beyond, bringing together everything they need in one place. The Reel Masters show, held at the Weymouth Pavilion, will have boats, terminal tackle and everything in between.

Reel Masters offers a welcoming festival-feel with live music, delicious food, local vendors, and activities for all.

With the benefit of easy access to bountiful and challenging waters Weymouth is an ideal venue for Reel Masters. The busy historic harbour, complete with its own long-standing fishing community, is a great place to watch all the comings and goings; luxury yachts, fishing trawlers, tall ships, RNLI Lifeboats and even cross-harbour rowing ferries. The harbourside bars and bistros mean visitors are spoilt for choice for places to eat out, whether fresh seafood, good old fashioned pub grub or a simple meal made with local produce, it’s all there.

Held Friday 30 September through to Sunday 02 October at the Weymouth Pavilion, pier and beach, the event will attract fishing and boating fans from complete beginners to seasoned professionals. With an anticipated footfall of 6000+ saltwater & predator angling enthusiasts, Reel Masters offers angling competitions for all.

Thanks to the wonderful team at the Angling Trust all visitors to the Reel Masters Show in Weymouth will be able to book a free Introduction to Angling taster session. All entry-level anglers and their families will be able to have a go, with expert instruction from the Angling Trust and their amazing coaches.

Come along for a 40-minute session and try to get your Bronze award for the “Get Fishing” programme. We are proud to welcome people of all abilities to Reel Masters and the Introduction to fishing is accessible to all. It’s free to enter when you purchase a ticket.

Reel Masters would like to extend free entry to the event for the Introduction to Angling sessions to local disadvantaged children. Children who may be in care, are young carers themselves, have disabilities (physical or mental) or long term health issues,, can attend the event with their families, foster parents or carers for FREE by contacting info@reelmastersshow.com.
