Race to the Bill Short Course Classic 2021

The Race to the Bill Short Course Triathlon –
This is a well established Triathlon race around the Isle of Portland dedicated to one of BustinSkin’s members Major Mick Welborn, a giant amongst men, who sadly passed away in September 2019
THE SWIM
Swimming 2 loops around the breakwater in Portland Harbour, you will negotiate a 1500m course around the huge rocks and orange marker buoys exiting the water no more than 50m away from a flat well organised transition area.
THE BIKE 17.5km, 1 lap around Portland, seeing the famous Bill lighthouse and fantastic Chesil Beach stretching for miles along the Jurassic coastline.
THE RUN A totally flat 10km run around the Osprey Quay area of the marina.
Mass start at 07:00 for the Classic

Weekly Saturday morning 5k Park Run, 9am. Free to join, register online.
Junior Park Run
Weekly Sunday morning 2k Park Run, 9am. Free to join, register online.
Weymouth Libraries – Join regular fun events for the whole family at libraries in Weymouth, including story times, rhyme times, chatterbooks and more. More information on the town’s libraries can be found here.
Radipole and Lodmoor RSPB Reserves – Walks and family fun days are held throughout the year.
